The LCOG Member Appreciation Dinner and Silent Auction for the Senior Meals Program is on Friday\, March 7\, 2025 at the Cottage Grove Armory. Social Hour and Silent Action start at 5:00 p.m. Dinner and program start at 6:00 p.m. A traditional component of this event is the formal recognition of outstanding service\, leadership\, and commitment to the regional community. \n\n\n\nDuring the night\, we also hold a silent auction to raise money for our Senior Meals Program. The Senior Meals Program is a nutrition wellness program which helps Lane County adults aged 60 and up maintain their independence by providing healthy meals and opportunities to develop and maintain vital social connections. S&DS operates nine Café 60 Meal Sites throughout Lane County and provides nutritious meals\, friendly visits\, regular safety and wellness checks\, and access to a myriad of other community-based services to seniors in their home through the Meals on Wheels program. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nhttps://givebutter.com/c/TfqPTB

This is achieved through cooperation and partnerships among local businesses\, community members\, private and public organizations and agencies. \n\n\n\nTheir Objectives are: \n\n\n\n\nto increase community awareness of senior needs and issues;\n\n\n\nto maintain\, grow and distribute an emergency support fund for at-risk seniors;\n\n\n\nto maintain and grow an endowment fund that supports hunger relief for the same identified senior population\n\n\n\n\nA $15 donation is recommended to participate in a wine tasting and generous appetizers that are provided. \n\n\n\nAn RSVP is appreciated at 541-698-8119 or 541-998-3336 so we can plan for the appropriate amount of appetizers. \n\n\n\nWe’ll have our amazing wines\, beers on tap\, hard ciders and non-alcoholic beverages. Bennett Vineyards is also donating at least 10% of our sales for the day. \n\n\n\nWe’ll be open from Noon to 5 pm.
